Warranty

Summerwood garden and storage sheds, gazebos, cabins and bunkies, home studios, pool houses, spa enclosures and garages are covered for a period of two years for defects in materials and workmanship.

It's important to note that the following are not covered:

• Natural characteristics of the wood including knots, small cracks or splinters
• Expansion and contraction of lumber due to humidity and heat
• Variations in color and graining patterns

Warranty Validation

Assembly Time Frame:Customers are required to build their structure within 60 days of delivery. This is to prevent any warping or shrinkage of the materials that may result in difficulties with assembly.

In order to confirm that the installation is completed within this timeline, we require that you provide us with finished photos of your structure. You can e-mail digital photos to design@summerwood.com or mail actual photo prints to Summerwood Products - 735 Progress Ave, Toronto, ON M1H2W7 - Attention: Warranty Department.

Sealing & Finishing:All structures must be sealed to validate your warranty. Although it is common to allow cedar to age to a silver/gray tone, unsealed wood may draw moisture up from the ground resulting in swelling and splintering - particularly on our 'deluxe' cedar doors. This will be one of the first questions our warranty department will have if you're calling in to have part of your structure serviced under our warranty.
